QA launches Cyber Training Lab
We were asked by QA (an IT training company) to help with the launch of their fantastic new Cyber Security Lab within their London training centre. The custom-built facility enables enterprises to simulate a cyber attack and learn to practise defending their systems and data.
The event required us to have a camera team and digital media team on site to produce a live, multi-site link up with their UK sales force.
Senior management and cyber security experts presented in the main hub to an audience of around 35 delegates. The audience participated in a simulated cyber attack to help them see the critical processes and speed that is required to foil any potential security breach.
The production involved feeding two closed-circuit cameras, PowerPoint and live audio into the vision mixer. The mixed output was then sent to the digital media team, whose responsibility it was to host the live output online so that the UK-wide audience members could view remotely. This was a complex set-up in a live, real-time environment, for which communication and exact timings proved critical in delivering the seamless stream. After the event we provided QA with a copy of the final footage so that they can continue to use the launch content as a sales training tool.
